FanDuel Week 6 Bargain Buys

So, who are the players that you are targeting this week in FanDuel?  You want to start all great players, but cannot because of the salary cap?  This column is for you.  Here we will list a few players at each position that we consider “Bargain Buys.”  So, what defines a GM Fantasy Pros Bargain Buy?  We consider a bargain buy a player that has a great opportunity to perform at a higher level than what their salary cap reflects.  That being said, we won’t be covering the top players at each position.  The players listed below should help fill in around some of the stars.  Let’s get started on FanDuel Week 6 Bargain Buys.

Quarterbacks

  • Russell Wilson (SEA) – $8400
  • Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) – $7600
  • Eli Manning (NYG) – $7200

The only thing that Russell Wilson does is continue to perform.  The Seahawks defense has been vulnerable to big plays so far this year and against Dallas that will require the Seahawks offense to keep the pressure on.

Cleveland gave up almost 200 yards passing and 2 TD’s to Charlie Whitehurst.  Big Ben has more weapons at his disposal than Whitehurst and I would expect at least similar production.

Eli Manning has weapons all over the field and Philadelphia hasn’t been able to stop anyone.  Last week they made Austin Davis look like Joe Montana.  Eli has a great opportunity to put some points on the board.

Running Backs

  • Andre Williams (NYG) – $6300
  • Branden Oliver (SD) – $6200
  • Ronnie Hillman (DEN) – $5900

Andre Williams is the one that we are the most excited about in this group.  Like we stated above, Philadelphia cannot stop anyone and that should provide Williams with some great opportunity, including scoring chances.

Oliver performed well last week, and he has a favorable matchup against Oakland.  That being said, we would advise a bit of caution with him.  There is now a week of tape on him for defenses to look at, and it is difficult to predict how he will do with a second opportunity.  However, the Chargers are playing great football right now and we feel that he could be worth the risk.

Hillman is in a bit of a similar situation as Oliver from a standpoint that we would advise a bit of caution.  Denver should play well against the Jets and should be in the lead all day.  That could play against the veteran Hillman as Coach Fox may want to get a look at some of the younger backs.  Hillman however should own the majority of the snaps prior to the game being out of hand, and he performs well in passing situations.  As with Oliver, he has some great potential and could be worth the risk.

Wide Receivers

  • Kelvin Benjamin (CAR) – $6600
  • Golden Tate (DET) – $6400
  • Rueben Randle (NYG) – $5900

Kelvin Benjamin has been a great addition for the Panthers this season and for fantasy owners.  He gets a ton of targets and at 6’5” he makes for a great red zone threat.  He has a very high upside.

Golden Tate will play against the Vikings who let Nelson and Cobb run all over the field.  Without Calvin Johnson on the field, Tate will see the lion’s share of the targets and catches.   He should post a quality stat line.

Randle is on this list because despite the number of available weapons that Eli has, Randle has lead the team in targets for the last 3 weeks.  As long as he is going to continue to get looks, we are comfortable playing him.

Tight Ends

  • Dwayne Allen (IND) – $5900
  • Martellus Bennett (CHI) – $5900
  • Zack Ertz (PHI) – $5200

I’ve been dogging Dwayne Allen all year long, and he continues to prove me wrong and manages to get into the end zone.  The reality is this….  He is a reliable weapon and clearly a threat to score.  When Andrew Luck is your QB, you always have a great chance of posting quality stats.

Bennett is averaging 8+ targets a game and he is playing against an Atlanta DST that is very suspect against the pass.  I would expect quality stats and he has a good opportunity to be a nice play this week.

Ertz is an interesting play this week as the Giants DST has not had to play a quality tight end all year long.  The Giants should focus in on the Eagles run game as everyone else has been doing and that should open things up for Ertz this week.

Kicker Quick Picks

  • Brandon McManus (DEN) – $5000
  • Mason Crosby (GB) – $5000
  • Shaun Suisham (PIT) – $4800

Defense/ST Quick Picks

  • Detroit Lions – $5000
  • Denver Broncos – $5000
  • Green Bay – $4800

FanDuel Week 5 Bargain Buys

So, who are the players that you are targeting this week in FanDuel?  You want to start all great players, but cannot because of the salary cap?  This column is for you.  Here we will list a few players at each position that we consider “Bargain Buys.”  So, what defines a GM Fantasy Pros Bargain Buy?  We consider a bargain buy a player that has a great opportunity to perform at a higher level than what their salary cap reflects.  Let’s get started.

FanDuel Week 5 Bargain Buys

Quarterbacks

  • Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) – $8300
  • Colin Kaepernick (SF) – $7800
  • Mike Glennon (TB) – $6100

Big Ben is the one out of this bunch that seems most likely to perform very well.  Jacksonville has allowed the most passing yards in the NFL so far this season and Roethlisberger should feast on their secondary all day long.

Running Backs

  • Rashad Jennings (NYG) – $7200
  • Andre Ellington (ARI) – $6800
  • Bishop Sankey (TEN) – $5900

Rashad Jennings is going up against the Atlanta Falcons and they have allowed the third most rushing yards so far on the season.  Jennings is also coming off of a Thursday game last week meaning that he has been able to have a longer amount of rest and preparation.  He should be in for a great stat line.

Wide Receivers

  • Wes Welker (DEN) – $6900
  • Michael Floyd (ARI) – $6400
  • Allen Robinson (JAX) – $5000

Michael Floyd has all but taken over as the #1 wide receiver in Arizona.  Playing away at Denver means that in all likeliness Arizona will be playing from behind all day long.  Floyd should see a great share of catches and yards that accumulate throughout this game.

Tight Ends

  • Larry Donnell (NYG) – $6200
  • Vernon Davis (SF) – $6000
  • Greg Olson (CAR) – $5900

It is difficult to argue with Larry Donnell here coming off of his three TD performance against the Redskins.  This week he is taking on the Atlanta Falcons whose defense has been Swiss cheese throughout the first four games.  Add in the fact that he is clearly the red zone target for Eli, and it creates a great opportunity for success.

Kicker Quick Picks

  • Brandon McManus (DEN) – $5900
  • Cody Parkey (PHI) – $4900
  • Shaun Suisham (PIT) – $4800

Defense/ST Quick Picks

  • Denver Broncos – $5100
  • Houston Texans – $5000
  • Detroit Lions – $4800
